Polička has the first area for legal graffiti. It is the existing playground wall on the corner of U Vlečky street. The wall can be used from the side of the cycle path for creative work without any penalties.
The public approached the city with a request for a space to create legal graffiti. The proponent has identified an area that is easily accessible from several directions and whose surface is suitable for this use without initial modifications. The space also allows for the creation of facilities for artists in the future.
The area is used in cooperation with the Bohuslav Martinů Primary Art School Polička and the Primary School at Lukách Polička, while at the same time allowing the general public to create.
The use of the area started on 1 April 2025 with a happening called LEGÁL POLIČKA organised by the Bohuslav Martinů Primary Art School Polička.
Polička má první plochu pro legální graffiti. Jedná se o stávající zeď hřiště na rohu ulice U Vlečky. Zeď bude možné ze strany od cyklostezky použít pro kreativní tvorbu, aniž by autorům hrozil postih.
S požadavkem na prostor pro tvorbu legálního graffiti se na město obrátila veřejnost. Navrhovateli byla vytipována plocha, která je dobře dostupná z několika směrů a jejíž povrch je pro toto využití vhodný bez počátečních úprav. Prostor zároveň do budoucna umožňuje vytvoření zázemí pro autory.
Plocha je využívána ve spolupráci se Základní uměleckou školou Bohuslava Martinů Polička a Základní školou na Lukách Polička, zároveň je umožněna tvorba široké veřejnosti.
Užívání plochy bylo zahájeno dne 1. 4. 2025 happeningem s názvem LEGÁL POLIČKA pořádaným Základní uměleckou školou Bohuslava Martinů Polička.
